Villarroel Torrico is an international architectural firm, which focuses on architectural design, urban planning and landscape design. For 40 years, Villarroel Torrico’s designs have successfully combined the sophistication, technological rationality and architecture of the XXI century with the traditions and vernacular origins of the Mediterranean region.
The firm’s design philosophy is based on a deep respect for nature and “human scale”, as well as local traditions and customs. This “comprehensive design approach” has received international recognition, particularly in the tourism and residential sectors. The firm specializes in the design of residential communities, hotels, marinas and harbors, and golf and polo resorts around the world.
Pablo received his bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the Catholic University of Washington, D.C. (USA) in 1990. Since then, he has been working in the family architecture practice and has completed large-scale projects around the world. As lead architect, his main involvement focuses on architectural design development and project execution.
Hugo graduated in 1978 with a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Santiago de Chile. He has over 35 years of design experience and has collaborated with MELVIN VILLARROEL since 1982, completing multi-scale projects around the world. As a lead architect, his main involvement focuses on the development of architectural design and urban planning.
